The motion
That this House deplores the decision by British Airways (BA) to suspend without pay its employee Nadia Eweida because of her refusal to cover a cross worn around her neck; notes that BA displays the Union Flag as its symbol on aircraft, which incorporates the Cross of St George, the Cross of St Andrew and the Cross of St Patrick; and supports Nadia Eweida in her view that the matter of expressing Christianity and employees having their say in the way they express their faith is a very important issue.
