The motion
That this House notes the services of remembrance which took place on 11th November across the United Kingdom; recognises the sacrifice made by millions of people who have lost their lives, not only during the two world wars, but in other conflicts and peace-keeping operations across the world; pays tribute to the Royal British Legion and the Poppy Appeal, which acts as a poignant reminder of the loss of life suffered and helps raise much-needed funds to allow the Legion to carry out its important work; and urges everyone to support the Royal British Legion, which helps support veterans and their families in many different ways.
