The motion

That this House regrets that chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) affects an estimated three million people in the UK, of which 2.1 million remain undiagnosed; welcomes the British Lung Foundation's campaign for World COPD Day 2006, which aims to find these missing millions so they can be diagnosed early and treated to halt the progression of their disease; urges honourable Members to help the British Lung Foundation to find the missing millions in their constituencies; and calls for the forthcoming National Service Framework for COPD to be implemented in full across England to ensure the treatment and care of people living with COPD is improved.
