The motion

That this House notes with concern the incident that occurred as part of a fireshow entertainment at the Gemini Park Resort in Turkey on 29th July 2006 in which Eden Galvani-Skeete, a six year old British girl, was tragically burnt to death in front of her family; further notes that Premier Homes UK is the sister company of Premier Homes Turkey which runs this resort; calls on Premier Homes UK to compensate the victims and their families; further notes that these dangerous fireshows are still taking place; is shocked at the basic level of health and safety regulations in a country so popular with British tourists; and urges the Government to raise this matter with the Turkish authorities to demand that those accountable are brought to justice.
