SERIOUS FRAUD OFFICE INQUIRY INTO BAE SYSTEMS

That this House notes with concern reports of pressure being placed on the Serious Fraud Office (SFO) to end their inquiry into alleged fraud involving BAE Systems; notes that the Public Accounts Committee is unable to pursue any enquiries pending the outcome of the SFO investigation; and believes that it is essential that the SFO be able to complete its work without pressure or influence from either within the UK or from any foreign governments or individuals.
