FREEDOM OF ASSEMBLY

That this House reaffirms its commitment to the freedoms of assembly, association and advocacy in the non-violent pursuit of legitimate political objectives; condemns the decision of the Ministry of the Interior of the Czech Republic to withdraw these freedoms by declaring the Communist Youth Union of the Czech Republic to be illegal on the grounds of the Union's support for public ownership of the means of production; calls on the Czech government to revoke this decision; and supports the legitimate rights of Czech young people to free assembly, association and speech.
