That this House notes with sadness the passing of Magnus Magnusson KBE; celebrates his contribution to broadcasting and to Britain over the course of his life here; recognises his 25 years of outstanding work as the host of Mastermind, throughout which he achieved the highest standards of professionalism, setting a marker for all BBC presenters; and further notes his exceptional work as a journalist and translator and his conscientious conservation work, including his Presidency of the RSPB.
