The motion
That this House notes that the use of `soft power' tactics by the UK in Afghanistan from 2001 to February 2006 resulted in seven British casualties, mostly in accidents, compared with 37 fatalities since then, mostly in combat, as a result of the change to `hard power' tactics by the Government in the Helmand Province.
