The motion

That this House notes that the Union Flag is flown from Buckingham Palace at all times other than when the Royal Standard is raised; and calls upon the House authorities to raise the Union Flag above the Victoria Tower, Portcullis House, Parliament Street and all other parliamentary buildings throughout the year, not only when Parliament is in session, but especially during the summer months when most overseas tourists visit our capital.
