NSPCC YOUNG WITNESS SUPPORT CAMPAIGN

That this House warmly welcomes the NSPCC young witness support campaign asking for all child witnesses to get support to help them through the criminal justice process; recognises that the NSPCC and partner agencies provide these services in some areas but that it is a postcode lottery as to which children receive what level of support; and calls on the Government to ensure that all young witnesses receive adequate support to enable them to give their best evidence and ultimately to help achieve justice.
