FIGHT THE FREEZE CAMPAIGN

The motion
That this House welcomes the Leicester Mercury's backing for Age Concern's Fight the Freeze Campaign and the support for this campaign from over 3,300 readers of the Leicester Mercury; and urges the Government to look into increasing the hugely popular and important winter fuel payment to ensure that pensioners can keep their homes warm as energy prices continue to increase.
