BARCLAYCARD JOB LOSSES IN MANCHESTER

That this House condemns the decision of Barclaycard to close its call centre at Peterloo House in Manchester in July and to move jobs to Teesside and India; notes that call centres across Manchester provide thousands of jobs and are a valuable part of Manchester's economy; and urges Barclaycard to reconsider its decision to cut over 600 jobs in Manchester.
