That this House condemns the video shown on the internet of West Ham football fans making racist chanting; welcomes the strong response of the Football Association, West Ham United Football Club, the Metropolitan Police and the Kick Racism Out of Football campaign for acting quickly against such racism and supporting a full investigation into the matter; notes the great progress that football clubs and authorities have made to promoting tolerance and diversity; recognises that the game of football has improved as more ethnic minorities have actively participated; and hopes that this will continue.
