CARE FOR CANCER PATIENTS

That this House supports the Patients in Partnership campaign to see a more rapid national roll-out of the Bowel Cancer Screening Programme with the self-administered tests offered to everyone between the ages of 50 to 74 years of age; and believes that a bowel cancer awareness campaign in support of the Government's screening programme is essential to raise response rates, especially in areas with high levels of black and ethnic minority groups in the population.
