DIGITAL BOXES

The motion

That this House notes that £600 million has been allocated for digital switchover of which £400 million is for free digital boxes for those over 75 years of age; suggests that by 2012, the end of timetable for switchover, that the internet will be as important as digital television; and therefore urges the Government to make sure there is a return path and an IPTV slot in any digital box.
