2012 EUROPEAN FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIPS IN POLAND AND UKRAINE

That this House congratulates Poland and Ukraine for being awarded the right to co-host the 2012 European football championships; believes that Poland and Ukraine hosting major international sporting events for the first time shows the degree of progress since 1989 in these two countries in creating free societies with efficient market economies; and wishes the best of luck to all four home nations in the United Kingdom in qualifying for the competition.
