GRETNA FOOTBALL CLUB'S PROMOTION TO THE SCOTTISH PREMIER LEAGUE

That this House congratulates Gretna Football Club on securing promotion to the Scottish Premier League by winning the Scottish Football League First Division Championship, their third championship in three years, after only five years in the Scottish League; commends the club's owner Brooks Mileson on his commitment to the club and to the community and to, in particular, youth development; and congratulates the chairman, secretary, management, playing staff and everyone associated with the club for the part they have played in this historic achievement.
