2nd ANNIVERSARY OF THE ANDIJAN MASSACRE IN UZBEKISTAN

That this House notes that it is two years since the massacre of hundreds of civilian demonstrators in Andijan in Uzbekistan on 12th and 13th May 2005; condemns the Uzbekistan government for this needless loss of life; and calls for the Uzbekistan government to be expelled from NATO's Partnership for Peace programme, and for the EU's forthcoming General Affairs and External Relations Council meeting on 14th May 2007 to renew the visa bans and the arms embargo against the Uzbekistan regime.
