FAMAGUSTA (No. 2)

That this House congratulates the real Mayor of Famagusta Mr Oktay Kayalp and the people of that city on their efforts to rebuild the life of the city despite the unjustified embargo practised against them by the Greek Cypriots; looks forward to the day when the port of Famagusta will be able to trade freely with the world and when the closed Famagusta suburb of Varosha will be reopened as part of an overall settlement between Turkish Cypriots and Greek Cypriots, as envisaged by the United Nations Annan Plan which the Greek Cypriots rejected.
