SPECIAL EDUCATIONAL NEEDS AND BULLYING

That this House is shocked at findings by Enable Scotland that nine out of 10 children with special educational needs are bullied every day; is extremely concerned that many children reported suffering mental and physical abuse routinely; notes that this problem is more severe in Scotland than in the rest of the UK; and calls on the Government to work closely with the Scottish Executive to redouble their efforts to stamp out this unacceptable behaviour in Scotland, and across the UK more broadly.
