LISTING OF PLYMOUTH CIVIC CENTRE

That this House condemns the decision by English Heritage to give Plymouth Civic Centre a building with little architectural value and significance Grade Two listed status, a decision which effectively blocks the planned and essential regeneration of Plymouth City Centre and is likely to seriously impact on the council taxpayers and condemn the council's employees to a future of working in a building which is environmentally unsuitable for the 21st century.
