BRITISH MOTOR SPORT INDUSTRY

That this House warmly congratulates the British motor sport industry on its achievements; notes with satisfaction Britain's continued leadership of the motor sport industry worldwide; recognises the important contribution to the British economy made by the industry which has an annual turnover of £1 billion, export earnings of £600 million, and a workforce of over 50,000; supports the industry's development and transfer of advanced technologies which can enhance the efficiency and safety of all motor vehicles; and welcomes the increasing use of unleaded fuels in motor sport both in Britain and worldwide.
