CAUCASUS CASPIAN COMMISSION

That this House notes the work of the Caucasus Caspian Commission and its significant progress in promoting enhanced relations between the region and the rest of Europe, peace and reconciliation and economic development; praises the Commission chairmanship of Slovenian Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel; further notes the impending publication of the Commission's report outlining future options for this emerging part of Europe; and calls on the UK Government and European Union to study and implement the Commission proposals aimed at enhancing stability and prosperity in the Caucasus Caspian region.
