AVIATION BETWEEN THE UK AND SINGAPORE

That this House warmly welcomes the landmark aviation agreement between the UK and Singapore; notes that this is the first agreement which gives unfettered access to the London-US market to a non-EU or US airline; and congratulates Singapore Airlines on another first to add to its recent inaugural passenger flight of the A380 aircraft, and its persistence over more than 10 years in seeking to offer greater choice to transatlantic air passengers.
