NFU AND FOOT AND MOUTH

That this House urges the National Farmers Union to bring legal proceedings against the Government over the recent foot and mouth outbreak with a view to securing the £100 million British farmers have lost due to the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs' neglect of essential maintenance of the Government laboratory in Pirbright which led to the outbreak.
