OPENING OF ST PANCRAS THAMESLINK

That this House welcomes the opening, two years ahead of schedule of the new St Pancras Thameslink station under the magnificent St Pancras International; congratulates the Government for responding positively to the representations of the Bedford Commuters Association, hon. Members and others that the project be brought forward; thanks the contractor CORBER and train operator First Capital Connect for the professionalism of their work; notes that together with extra trains soon to be delivered, congestion will be eased and that passengers will no longer have to endure King's Cross Thameslink.
