The motion
That this House recalls the horrific atrocity carried out at the Droppin Well in Ballykelly on 6th December 1982 by members of the INLA, resulting in the murder of 17 people, both civilians and military personnel; commends the courage and fortitude of the relatives of the dead and the survivors; believes that those murdered in atrocities such as Ballykelly should not be forgotten; and restates the democratic principle that murder was and remains unacceptable, and was and remains repudiated by all democratically elected representatives of communities in Northern Ireland and across the United Kingdom.
