BRITISH COUNCIL IN RUSSIA

That this House condemns the decision of the Russian Federation to close all the offices of the British Council in Russia outside Moscow within the next two weeks; notes that the only other countries that restrict the work of the British Council in this way are Iran and Burma; and calls on the Russian government to reconsider its position.
