FUEL DUTY
Tabled by Sir Lindsay Hoyle (Speaker)

The motion
That this House notes that the price of petrol and diesel is set to rise again in April of this year; further notes that fuel prices are over the 100p per litre mark and continue to rise; recognises that this places a significant financial burden on those who are highly dependent upon their car, those on low incomes and those who live in rural areas where public transport is inadequate; and calls on the Chancellor of the Exchequer to scrap the increase in fuel duty.
