CONDUCT OF HON. MEMBER FOR TWICKENHAM AND SAUDI ARABIA

That this House is deeply concerned by the support of the hon. Member for Twickenham for the latest investigation into BAE Systems and Saudi Arabia; believes that such behaviour does not acknowledge the fact that thousands of British jobs depend on the Al-Yamamah contract; further believes that Saudi Arabia is a vital strategic ally of the United Kingdom; and believes that the Liberal Democrats have once again shown their naivety on an issue of fundamental importance to this country.
