SUPERMARKETS AND BRITISH MEAT

That this House notes and is encouraged by Morrisons' decision to source all its beef, poultry, pork and lamb from the UK; recognises that this will have the effect of helping the British farming industry, reducing food miles and improving animal welfare; and calls on other supermarkets to follow suit.
