The motion

That this House notes that the vast majority of musicians have to travel with their instruments in the course of making their living; further notes the lack of consistent policy between airlines and airports on the transportation of musical instruments; is concerned that restrictions on transporting musical instruments should not be influenced by commercial incentives; and therefore urges the Government to develop a clear and consistent policy for airlines that allows musicians to be able to continue to travel with their instruments without incurring unfair financial penalties.
