REGISTRATION OF ADULT HEALTH AND SOCIAL CARE PROVIDERS

That this House welcomes the Government's Health and Social Care Bill; recognises the importance of preventing and controlling healthcare-acquired infections; notes the publication on 25th March of the draft consultation document which closes on 17th June; and urges the Government, in the interests of consistency of healthcare standards, to include non-emergency patient transport services within the regulatory framework of the Care Quality Commission.
