INFLATION AND THE COST OF LIVING

That this House notes that different types of household have different patterns of expenditure; notes particularly increases in energy and food costs and recognises that these can cause households on constrained income particular difficulties; and calls for the Government to arrange for a review of the cost of living for particular types of household to facilitate policy development so that people on constrained incomes are capable of maintaining their standard of living.
