PFI CHARGES FOR USE OF SCHOOL CHANGING ROOMS

That this House notes that charges for additional services levied by companies managing schools under private finance initiative contracts are not constrained either by the market or contractually; further notes that this leads to charges of over £100 per hour for access to a changing room on Saturdays; recognises that this excessive cost prevents children from participating in additional sport on Saturdays; and calls for the Government to review its policies from this perspective.
