HILLINGDON SCHOOL OF GYMNASTICS - SWALLOWS

That this House notes that the Hillingdon School of Gymnastics (Swallows Gym), has been nominated as a London 2012 pre-games training venue; further notes that the gym is recognised as a British Gymnastics High Performance Centre and a London Gymnastics Federation Centre of Excellence; recognises that as well as achieving GymMark and ClubMark status and providing gymnastic-based activities for a healthy lifestyle to over 2,000 people a week from the boroughs of Hillingdon, Harrow, Ealing and other parts of West London and the Home Counties, for over 30 years the Swallows Gym offers parent and toddler sessions, pre-school gymnastics for under five year olds and general gym classes with a gymnastics for all policy as well as adult gym classes; and calls on the London Borough of Hillingdon to enter negotiations with the school to ensure the continued future of the gym.
