The motion
That this House recognises that the bubble economy days of being relaxed about greedy wealth accumulation, of soft touch, weak, regulation of excessive levels of debt and of enthronement of markets have been brutally ended by the inevitable bursting of the bubble; welcomes the dawn of new socialism this ushers in bringing a new age of fairness, effective regulation, social responsibility and state intervention to protect and serve the people; and urges Government to embark on a Keynesian expansion programme of cheap money and better benefits, borrowing and spending, building and stimulating to boost flagging demand, fight back against recession, and lead the nation through to better times.
