FALKLAND ISLANDS

That this House welcomes the commitment to good governance and the rule of law in all the British Overseas Territories; particularly welcomes the new Constitution for the Falkland Islands which enhances internal self-government and strengthens democratic institutions; and reconfirms the right of the Falkland Islanders to self-determination which underpins the commitment of Government to their security, economic and social development.
