The motion
That this House notes with regret the speculation on sterling by the hon. Member for Tatton in The Times on 15th November 2008; further notes with regret the hon. Member for Stratford-upon-Avon's comment that `the recession has got to take its course' on 17th November 2008; urges all hon. Members not to talk down the British economy, nor to give up on the British people; and calls upon the Leader of the Opposition to support the Government's action to give a boost to the economy to ensure real help in tough times for families and business.
