The motion
That this House notes with concern that the issue of a British football team for the 2012 Olympics has not yet been resolved; further notes that the Home Nations' tournament would be a popular resolution to this problem, and that the use of such a tournament has a precedent in determining qualifiers for both world cups and European championships; and calls on the Government to liaise with the respective football associations in bringing forward such a solution.
