COMPENSATION FOR VICTIMS OF LIBYAN-SPONSORED TERRORISM

The motion
That this House welcomes the decision of the Prime Minister to withdraw an invitation to Colonel Gaddafi to come to London for an oil summit in December 2008; and calls on the Government to refuse the Libyan leader entry into the United Kingdom until he has properly compensated those who suffered at the hands of IRA terrorism, which was sponsored by the Libyan regime in the way that US victims of Libyan-sponsored terrorism have been.
