REGENERATION OF DONINGTON PARK AND LEICESTERSHIRE

That this House warmly welcomes the news that Donington Park Motor Racing Circuit, Leicestershire is to begin a £100 million redevelopment; recognises that this will provide extensive economic redevelopment throughout Leicestershire, creating 6,000 new jobs and leading to £60 million of new investment in the surrounding area; congratulates Simon Gillett, Chief Executive of Donington Park, on his success in getting these plans approved; and looks forward to Donington Park hosting Lewis Hamilton and the British Grand Prix in 2010.
