POLICE AND ALLOWANCES

The motion

That this House notes the assurance given by the former Home Secretary, the Noble Lord Waddington, that no serving police officer would lose money as a result of changes in rent allowances; and now calls upon the present Home Secretary to honour that pledge and put right any anomalies which exist.
