NORTHERN IRELAND CHILDREN'S COMMISSIONER

That this House welcomes the fact that the Northern Ireland Children's Commissioner lost her recent appeal against the law allowing parents to use smacking as a form of discipline; criticises her waste of public money in pursuit of an ideologically driven legal campaign; and calls on the Commissioner to cease attempting to criminalise loving, caring parents.
