RELATIONS BETWEEN IRAN AND BAHRAIN

That this House believes that remarks made by Ali Akbar Nateq-Nouri, adviser to the Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Al Khamenei, claiming that Iran has legal sovereignty over the Kingdom of Bahrain risk jeopardising diplomatic relations and stability within the region; and calls on the Iranian government to give an unequivocal statement of support to the Kingdom of Bahrain as a sovereign and independent state.
