Tabled by Lord Mann (Labour) 27 signatures

The motion

That this House recognises the growing concern at the role the internet plays in radicalising extremists; welcomes the report on Countering Online Radicalisation published by the International Centre for the Study of Radicalisation and Political Violence at King's College London, in partnership with the Community Security Trust; and calls on the Government to take up the four main recommendations proposed by the report authors, which are to deter producers of illegal material, empower online communities, reduce the appeal of extremist messages and promote positive messages online.
