The motion
That this House welcomes Noise Action Week from 18 to 22 May 2009 co-ordinated by the charity Environmental Protection and supported by the Institute of Acoustics; applauds the objective of promoting practical solutions to everyday noise problems; notes the shhh ... say NO to noise! campaign as set out on www.noiseactionweek.org.uk; and urges the Government to publish its Noise Strategy for England without further delay.
