TURNOVER OF INCUMBENTS IN THE POST OF MINISTER OF STATE FOR EUROPE

That this House notes that since the general election of 1997 no fewer than 11 appointments have been made to the post of Minister of State for Europe; and considers that the turn-over is too frequent and deleterious to United Kingdom interests.
