That this House notes the exceptional performance of the Wrexham and Shropshire railway in the spring 2009 National Passenger Survey results; further notes that this company is privately funded and receives no public subsidy; further notes that its overall satisfaction score at 97 per cent. is the highest ever recorded in the National Passenger Survey and that this sets a standard never before equalled by any established train operator; further notes that because this was the first time this company was included in the survey, they were not included in the main league tables; and calls on the Government to ensure that these results are prominently and widely communicated so that all companies are aware of this new higher standard to which to aspire.
