NATIONAL EXPRESS RAIL FRANCHISES

That this House believes it is unacceptable for National Express to keep its profitable C2C and East Anglia franchises in order to fulfil its commitments on the East Coast Mainline; and believes that it cannot be in the interest of taxpayers or passengers for the Government to pay for the losses of National Express and to allow them to keep the profits.
